Frequently asked questions
How do I write the page range?
Type page numbers separated by commas and use a dash for ranges. For example, 1-3,5 keeps pages 1, 2, 3 and 5.
Does the original file change?
No. Your original file is untouched. You receive a new PDF that contains only the pages you selected.
Can I split every page into its own file?
Not with this tool. It creates one new PDF from the pages you choose, so run it once for each part you need.
Is Split PDF free to use?
Yes. Split PDF is free, with no sign-up and no usage limits.
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
No. The work is done in your browser on your own device, so nothing you use here is sent to our servers.
Privacy and safety
Split PDF runs entirely in your browser. The files you choose never leave your device and nothing is kept after you close the page.
