How to Convert JPG and PNG Images to a PDF
Turn photos, scans and screenshots into a single PDF document, with the pages in the order you choose.
A PDF is easier to send, print and store than a pile of loose photos. It is the usual choice for scanned receipts, homework pages, ID copies and multi-page forms photographed with a phone.
Steps
- Open the image to PDF tool and select your images. You can choose many at once.
- Use the arrows on each image to set the page order.
- Click Convert to PDF. Each image becomes one page and the file downloads as images.pdf.
- Open the file and scroll through it to check every page.
Getting a good result
- Straighten and crop first. If a photo has a lot of empty table around the document, crop it with the Crop Image tool so the page looks tidy.
- Keep the light even. Take photos in daylight and avoid shadows across the paper.
- Watch the size. Phone photos can be several megabytes each, so a 20-page PDF can become large. Reduce the images first with Compress Image.
Which format is best?
JPG is the best choice for photos. PNG is better for screenshots and text with sharp edges, but PNG files are bigger. The tool accepts both.
Privacy
The images stay on your device while the PDF is created, so it is safe to use for personal documents.
